With this high-capacity hybrid dryer, it is possible to choose between speed of drying and energy saving. Its maintenance is facilitated thanks to the self-cleaning condenser and the remote failure identification system.

Two modes for perfect drying

It is thanks to the heat pump that this condensing dryer can integrate the Eco Hybrid function. It thus offers the user the choice between energy saving or speed of drying. In the first case, up to 50% of the reduction in energy consumption is on the program. In the second, the process is reduced by 30% while optimizing the drying by a maximum of 15%.

With the heat pump, the dryer recovers the energy generated by the condensation to heat the air injected into the tank. The temperature in the drum – of the order of 55°C – is lower than in that of traditional dryers. For textiles, this represents certain advantages: a fiber less weakened, less risk of narrowing, deformation and false folds.

Easy maintenance for a large capacity

For this RC9055AP2Z heat pump dryer, LG has designed several devices to facilitate maintenance. First, there is the condenser that is cleared of deposits 3 to 7 times per cycle. It is no longer necessary to clean it yourself. More importantly, self-cleaning condenser preserves the performance of the device.

In terms of capacity, the LG condensing dryer displays 9 kg for a standard dimension (85 cm high for 60 wide and 64 deep). This makes it possible to dry large items. It has 11 programs with 6 degrees of drying. Finally, it benefits from the Smart Diagnosis, a remote fault detection device to simplify the management of possible malfunctions.
